Potterfest 2022 brought the atmosphere of the world of Harry Potter to Cubex and offered a full-day programme filled with talks, workshops and magical experiences for fans of all ages.
Forbes – Next Big Thing 2018
A two-day technology festival, Forbes Next Big Thing 2018, organised by Forbes magazine, took place at Cubex and focused on the future of innovation, business, and society. The event featured inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and presentations by both Czech and international speakers, covering topics such as artificial intelligence, the future of mobility, cybersecurity, and innovation in companies.
The programme also included hands-on showcases of technology projects. A new format called Next Company offered a behind-the-scenes look at successful Czech businesses. The event successfully combined inspiration, knowledge sharing, and networking across the technology community.

Participant registration and a first introduction to the atmosphere of the Forbes Next Big Thing 2018 festival – arriving guests are welcomed at the registration area within Cubex.
Forbes made use of a large Media Wall at Cubex to display the programme, helping visitors navigate the event while reinforcing its modern, tech-focused character.
The festival also featured a presentation of innovations in mobility – in the large foyer of Cubex, visitors had the opportunity to explore modern vehicles and technological innovations up close.
An interactive zone in the large foyer of Cubex also offered space for a more relaxed programme – visitors could take group photos in a stylish Forbes frame and leave with a memorable keepsake from the festival.
Part of the accompanying programme was also a Metaxa zone, offering visitors refreshing drinks and a space for informal meetings in the festival’s relaxed atmosphere.
The large foyer of Cubex was transformed into a vibrant networking zone with high tables, offering an ideal space for meeting, sharing experiences, and making new connections.
The programme featured inspiring talks and expert sessions held in the main hall of Cubex, offering fresh perspectives on technology, innovation, and the future of business.
Technological innovation could also be experienced first-hand – the programme included a presentation of a modern electric vehicle directly in the main hall of Cubex.
Bold pink lighting enhanced the event’s visual identity and gave the main hall of Cubex a distinctive atmosphere.
Visitors took away not only inspiration from the programme, but also memorable moments, capturing them in real time during the talks and sessions.
Panel discussions, such as RUR 2018 focused on artificial intelligence or the NEXT 100 block on the future of the Czech Republic, brought together experts from various fields and created space for inspiring debate.
Speakers made use of a raised stage along with large-scale projection in the main hall, enhancing the clarity of presentations and the overall visual impact of the programme.
The programme also featured a presentation by Stephen Attenborough of Virgin Galactic, offering visitors an insight into the future of space travel.
During his presentation, Stephen Attenborough captivated the audience with a dynamic delivery and expressive gestures that underscored the themes of space tourism and the future of flight.
