The 19th edition of the National Conference of the Czech Chamber of Lightweight Building Envelopes, held at Cubex, is titled Fasady 2026: Projects, materials, technologies. The dynamic development of the lightweight building envelope sector is driven by new technologies, advanced materials and fundamental changes in the required performance parameters of building envelopes. Large glazed areas, access to daylight, low energy losses, reduced overheating during summer months and low life-cycle assessment (LCA) values are key aspects addressed by the conference speakers. These topics will be explored through case studies of projects such as the Vltava Philharmonic Hall and the large-scale development in the Smíchov district.
Additional lectures will focus on innovations in 3D concrete printing, building energy systems, fire safety and the latest developments in glazing technologies. A highlight of the conference will be a keynote presentation by Arch. Jakub Fišer from Aulík Fišer architekti, s.r.o., who will share his personal perspective on contemporary construction challenges through the lens of lightweight building envelopes.
