What to Expect:
Panel Discussions & Keynotes:
- Delve into “Japanese Urban Legends” with Yumeno, explore the rise of Chinese animation in “Anime from China?” (Cun Xu), and attend “What Is Michael Bay Working On?! – The Journey of Skibidi Toilet from Meme to Film Adaptation” with Mysaldate, which examines how internet memes transition to the big screen.
- Listen to discussions on the origins and evolution of isekai heroes in “Isekai Heroes: How They Began and Where They’ve Reached” (Lionel Korzar) and “Technological Immortality in Anime” (Lukáš Asník).
Hands-On Workshops:
- Basics of origami for beginners and advanced enthusiasts (Iru), plus a special origami workshop—Dragon (Jo Nakashima).
- Beadwork with Gabriela Svobodová (Gashi) and ink painting with Lívia Čellárová.
- Crash course in tattooing (Blu Dryad) and jewellery making (Nicoletta), where you can create your own jewellery inspired by East Asian aesthetics.
- K-POP dance workshops led by Excelent Dance Group (“Smart” by Le Sserafim) and Manerme (“Untouchable” by ITZY).
Creative & Cultural Demonstrations:
- Taiji Studio presents Chinese martial-arts exhibitions, and Marti—an avid dreamer of fantasy—will portray a character from a Chinese fantasy world.
- Veles Stunts immerses you in the world of swordplay with “Shirō and the Demons”.
- Discover dramatic arts in “Cosplay as Theatre” led by Herbert Heissler (Divadlo akce Veles) and the musical “Teyvat Theatre” by Levi Dostál.
Expo Zone & Marketplace:
- Visit the Taiji Studio stand for little delights from China—key rings, fans, pouches, hair sticks and other charming trinkets.
- Wander through stalls offering manga-anime souvenirs, video games at Games Line, and traditional Japanese teas and art objects in the Empiria section.
Cosplay & Competitions:
- Prague Cosplay Challenge in the main hall; Cosplay Competition and Miss Advík on Friday’s programme.
- On Saturday, look forward to the Cosplay Contest, the Advík Ball and a Dance Party. On Sunday, enjoy the Roleplay Show and the panel “Inspiration vs Copying: Ethics in the Cosplay Community” (Gabriela Svobodová).
